It isn't a round number in inches and it isn't arbitrary. How we landed on one standard height for the whole collection.

People ask why every piece is the same height, and usually they’re asking whether it’s a production shortcut. Partly it is. Mostly it’s because 120 cm turned out to be the height where a figure stops being an object on a surface and starts being part of a room.
At 60 or 80 cm, a figure sits on things. On a cabinet, on a shelf, on a sideboard, and the moment it’s on a surface it’s competing with the other things on that surface. It also gets looked down at, which flattens a face, since character sculpts are built to be seen roughly level.
120 cm is around eye level for most adults standing in a hallway, slightly below it in a room where you’re seated. That means the face is seen straight on most of the time, which is how it was designed to be seen. It’s also narrow enough in footprint that it doesn’t reorganise a room, and short enough to clear a standard doorway upright.
There’s a practical threshold too. A fiberglass shell at this height is still a two-person carry. Push toward 150 cm and you start needing more people, wider packaging, and freight handling that costs more than the figure gained in presence.
We’ve made taller one-offs and they’re impressive for about a week. Then they become architecture. You stop being able to move them, you need two people and a plan every time, and the surface area to dust roughly doubles for a gain in presence that’s smaller than you’d think.
Because it makes the collection behave. Every piece shares a height, a material and a finish, so characters from completely different themes can stand in the same room without one of them looking out of place. Mixed-height collections fight each other on a shelf. A fixed height turns the variety into character rather than noise.
It also means our moulds, our packing and our shipping are all solved problems instead of 110 separate ones, and that’s genuinely part of how the price stays where it is.

The plant characters show the height well, because vertical additions like the shoot crown push the eye upward. Bamboo Shoot Crown Panda is taller in feel than in measurement.
